Memories

Wow, what I thought was going to be a quite day at home just catching up on more 'stuff' turned out to be something totally different. It started out with talking to a very special Friend on the phone for a very long time. Something that we use to do all the time... and haven't done for a very very long time now. So we got to catch up some which was wonderful... I do miss her!!

So After that I was able to finally get around to throwing some clothes on and a little paint on the face and I heard the doorbell... no one comes to my door unless they are selling something... do I answer or not... OK... I have to answer. And there stood at the door was another friend that I hold close to my heart and haven't seen in ages! She came in and we talked for a couple of hours ( I think)...:) Wow!! What a morning!! It was good, no I did not get done today what I had planed, but as always I asked God to take my day and do with it what He needed to do and to let me adjust to His ways and not mine. And that He did. What is so neat about all of this is, that even though I don't see or hear from these two ladies much anymore, it is nice to know that over the years that we have all impacted each others lives to the point that we are still glad to see each other when we can. Yes... this was a building block in my life, and I just hope that I help build something in theirs.

** It is so amazing to know that we don't have to be alone in our journey in life and our walk with God. Its all about relationships. Woven together with the love of God and keeping in touch with each other. Today was the perfect day for God to show me His words coming to life! Thank you Lord for the perfect lesson.
