Valentines

Today is Valentines day. A very over rated holiday. What is it exactly. A day to express your love.. buy a gift.. have a little romance.. flowers, dinner.. jewelry etc. Why do we need a special day to do this. Every day should be Valentines day. If you can not show your love for your "other half" every day .. then I would suggest either moving on if you are just dating.. or marriage counselling if you are married.

Love is a verb.. an action word. It is not just a feeling and one day a year you get to act on it. Think of it this way. God gave his only son for us..he was beat and hung on a cross for our sins. Now, that is love. And you know what if that was not the ultimate Valentines day I do not know what is... Humm.. wonder if we could change Easter to Valentines day. God did not buy me flowers, He gave me life, He did not take me out to dinner, He promised me a marriage supper. He did not buy me jewelry, He gave me grace and forgiveness. He is my love.

When you meet that special someone in your life... celebrate every day. You never know what tomorrow will hold. Don't ever go a day with out somehow showing your love for each other. Don't wait for just the special occasion to give a gift.. give it for no reason... go out and enjoy each other.. have some fun.. laugh... laugh allot.. oh and take lots of silly pictures! Love every day and Love hard... and don't ever look back.
